COVID-19 Data Tracker

The County of Berks is dedicated to providing residents with the latest available data regarding COVID-19 cases and transmission.  The following charts are provided by the CDC and will be updated each week.

Check out the following websites for even more COVID-19 data and indicators.

COVID-19 Community Transmission
The chart below tracks the level of community transmission throughout the United States with an integrated county view. You can select a specific date or watch a time-lapse of the past month by clicking on the triangle in the top left corner.

Community Transmission uses two indicators for categorization:
  1. Total number of new cases per 100,000 persons within the last 7 days
  2. Percentage of positive diagnostic and screening nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT) during the last 7 days
COVID-19 Cases
The charts below show the daily trends in number of COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania and the United States as reported to the CDC. The blue bars show daily cases while the red line indicates the 7-day moving average. The average is used to help reduce reporting differences.
